Roles and responsibilities:

  • This role will own the P&L of the category, lead strong cross-functional stakeholder management to translate customer insights into marketing efforts and enhance customer value.
  • Drive initiatives and improvements to onboard new customers, execute the category activation calendar, and conceptualize innovations in customer experience, and basic consumer needs and convert them into business goals.
  • Drive business growth, and market share of the specific category with strong product, competition, and consumer analytics.
  • To achieve the given revenue and sales targets of the allocated category of exams
  • Set strategic category direction based on customer and business needs & develop the core positioning and messaging for the category.
  • Manage owned-media content and drive banner revenue through list growth, segmentation, and increased efficiency.
  • Implementation of plans for the category in areas of price, promotion & product mix.
  • Complete ownership of Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer/Student Experience for the given territory
  • Conduct comprehensive industry trend analysis, including market, competitive, and pricing trends.
  • Plan and execute marketing calendar & program across various platforms and take corrective actions to stay on course with the plan
  • To ensure recruitment, training, set action, and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching, and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met
  • Ensuring effective branding of the organization and events is done through various mediums as and when required.
  • To make proper utilization of reports and their effective analysis for strategic thinking and execution.
  • Develop sales enablement tools and train sales teams to win in the category.
  • Drive, manage, and track sales productivity initiatives and online marketing campaigns for the said category.

 

Requirements :

  • 2-3 years of Category management or similar experience with Ecommerce / Edtech organizations.
  • Very deep business acumen and a strong problem solver.
  • Highly driven and resourceful candidate (fast-paced start-up experience preferred)
  • Excellent data analysis, data interpretation, and first principle problem-solving approach
  • Creative bend to conceptualize engaging YouTube videos, messaging for Social Media/SMS/WhatsApp/Mobile App, and Sales Pitch
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
