Job Overview:
As a YouTube SEO Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our YouTube channel's performance by implementing effective SEO strategies. You will work closely with content creators, video editors, and the marketing team to ensure that our videos rank higher in search results, leading to increased visibility, engagement, and subscriber growth.
Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research and Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify trending and relevant terms in our niche.
- Analyze search trends and user behavior to optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags.
- Video Optimization:
- Develop and implement video optimization strategies to improve discoverability and click-through rates.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure alignment between video content and SEO objectives.
- Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends and monitor competitor channels.
- Identify opportunities and strategies to outperform competitors in search rankings.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize YouTube analytics and other relevant tools to track and measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate SEO strategies into broader digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with video editors to optimize thumbnail images for better click-through rates.
Qualifications:
- Should have 2-3 years of experience in the domain.
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager with a focus on YouTube.
- Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent knowledge of SEO tools and analytics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
