We are seeking a dedicated Female Hostel Warden to oversee the management of our
female student hostel. The ideal candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and supportive
environment for approximately 40 female students (scaling to 200-300). The role
requires strong leadership, empathy, and organizational skills to improve
communication, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hostel Management:
○ Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
○ Enforce hostel rules and maintain discipline.
○ Address student grievances promptly and empathetically.
2. Communication & Conflict Resolution:
○ Establish a clear communication framework between students and
management.
○ Conduct regular feedback sessions and manage a WhatsApp group for
real-time updates.
○ Implement a transparent grievance redressal system.
3. Community Building:
○ Organize events and activities to foster a sense of community.
○ Encourage student participation in hostel initiatives.
4. Reporting:
○ Prepare monthly reports on hostel operations, student feedback, and
resolved issues.
○ Maintain records using tools like Google Forms, Sheets, and Excel.
○ Develop a comprehensive hostel handbook outlining rules and procedures.
Qualifications:
● Must-Haves:
○ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
○ Experience in managing residential facilities or similar environments.
○ Ability to handle conflicts with empathy and authority.
○ Understanding of the unique needs of female students.
● Preferred:
○ Knowledge of hostel management, student welfare, and safety protocols.
○ Proficiency in basic computer skills (Google Forms, Sheets/Excel).

Experience:
