Responsibilities

1. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
2. Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
3. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
4. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
5. Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
6. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
7. Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
8. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
9. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

 

Required Skills 

  • You have an understanding of what builds a brand on social platforms and are excited by the opportunity to do that.
  • You have a minimum of 1-3 yrs practical experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role in executing a social strategy, as directed by the leadership.
  • Solid and ongoing understanding of appropriate third-party tools, and ability to integrate these tools. Impressive communication skills; written and verbal Fluency in Google suite (Canva, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong digital marketing/high-growth startup experience would be preferred.
